JJK Modulo Chapter 18 Spoilers and Overview

In the last chapter, we saw that Tsurugi was losing the fight against Maru, but at the last moment before he was about to be finished, Rika came and fused with Tsurugi, giving a great Fusion and Showing Incredible power. Let's see in this chapter what happens after the Fusion.

Chapter Summary :

The Chapter starts with the Showing of the fight between Tsurugi and Maru, and Rika is shown to be enjoying the fight, and both Tsurugi and Rika are arguing while fighting. Maru is confused about the current circumstances, seeing the  Fusion between Tsurugi and Maru, but while the fight progresses, he realizes that this power is coming from Tsurugi's grandfather's ring, which was tied around his neck. He realizes that the cursed energy in the ring is too powerful for a normal human to imbue and immediately understands that Tsurugi's grandfather was an extraordinary sorcerer who imbued his cursed energy in this ring for Decades.  Tsurugi is shown ignoring Maru's technique and fighting with pure strength, overwhelming Maru completely.

Tsurugi then apologizes to Maru and tells him that he can't hold back, as he has to win this fight. Maru asks him not to apologize as they both are in the same Circumstance.

The chapter then shifts focus to the fight between Dabura and Yuuka, where Yuuka has summoned Mahoraga. Mahoraga has started adapting to Dabura's technique, and the weather of the fight has changed. Until now, Dabura was on the offensive using his technique to defeat Mahoraga, but Mahoraga has now adapted to his attacks and started ignoring his technique's effects and landing powerful blows on Dabura.  Dabura realizes that the wheel on Mahoraga's head spins, indicating that his adaptation process is complete. Dabura realizes that if this keeps going on, he will lose this fight. Dabura is smashed into a wall by Mahoraga, and he is now scared of losing.

But suddenly, he remembers a conversation with his best friend from the past.  In the past, Dabura mentioned to Doula that he is incredibly strong, but he doesn't want to fight, and Doula replied that it's not that Dabura does not want to fight, but it's just that Dabura has never fought before. Dabura was confused, but Doula said that he can only convey this much with his words, and he will truly understand his words when he faces a foe who has the power to overwhelm him. Dabura now realizes that it doesn't matter if you want to fight or not, but it matters when you "Must Fight." Dabura apologizes to Mahoraga and tells him that he will now fight as he should have. It is conveyed that Dabura's technique, 'Light,' cannot be used by Dabura to its full potential because his body cannot withstand the speed of light. Dabura decided to defeat Mahoraga by punching him to death with his fists at the speed of light, and in this process, Dabura's hands will also be destroyed. The Chapter ends with a panel where Dabura has decided to surpass the limit of his own body and bring it to its absolute Potential.

Chapter Highlights :

1.  Mahoraga has now adapted to all of Dabura's attacks and is now fighting Offensive

2.  Dabura realizes that Mahoraga can defeat him and is scared.

Favourite Panel : 

Senpai's favourite panel is Mahoraga standing on top of a Tower and looking down on  Dabura looking like an absolute Menace. 

Theory : 

In the coming chapter, we will see Dabura's light speed, and Mahoraga can be defeated by that, but senpai thinks that Yuka will intervene and save Mahoraga.

Conclusion :

We saw that Dabura is now using his light-speed attacks, and now we are about to see the speed that will surpass every known character's speed in Jujutsu Kaisen.
