JJK Modulo Chapter 22 Spoilers and Overview

Welcome back friends, and today we will discuss the JJK Modulo chapter 22.

In the last chapter, we saw how Yuji was summoned to a place that serves as a passageway for the souls of humans, and Mahito was waiting there for Yuji's soul to arrive. However, Mahito was shocked to learn that Yuji was not dead and was just summoned there. Maru tells Yuji that he has a plan for preventing the birth of Curses on Earth. Yuji decided to join Maru in his plan. Now lets continue with the latest chapter.

Chapter Overview:

The Chapter starts with Yuji telling Maru that he understood his plan and asks him that 'are you intending to reshape the soul of the people of Japan so that Curse spirits are not born'. Maru then answers Yuji by saying that he intends to use the Spaceship's and Yuta's cursed energy to enhance Mahito's technique, which can interfere with souls. All Maru needs is Yuji's permission. Yuji says that Mahito is not someone who will listen Obidiently and they need a binding vow for using Mahito. To make a binding vow with Mahito, Someone needs to subjugate(Dominate) Mahito. Yuji decided to handle the subgation part, but he is worried about accidentally killing him. Maru explains that this is a path for souls, and besides Maru and Yuji, there is no one with a physical body in this place. So there is no way that Mahito can die because he has already died, and this is just his soul that they will be fighting. Yuji asks Mahito, "Are you ready"?

Mahito gets angry and attacks Yuji, asking him not to underestimate him. Mahito explains that this place is built with the same essence as a Soul, and everything here is a target for his technique. Since Yuji has a physical body, he can be killed. Mahito uses his Domain expansion and tries to kill Yuji, but Yuji uses his technique to cut everything into pieces. Everything Including Mahito and his doimain are slashed, and Yuji simply asks Mahito, " Were you really this weak?" 

Maru then takes a part of Mahito's Face and keeps it with him. Yuji then wonders how Mahito was still there, and maybe he interfered with the souls of his comrades. Maru tells him that this is not possible due to him having low cursed energy and how he gained his strength just now because of Maru's technique. Maru then asks Yuji about the curse spirits of the earth, and Yuji gives him all the details he knows. According to Yuji, Cursed spirits are born by the leaking Cursed energy from Japanese people, and to create a world without the birth of cursed Spirits, they need to eliminate cursed energy from the people of Japan, or they need to transform every human into a Sorcerer. Option 2 is not that reliable, because maybe Humans with power can inflict the same or more damage than curse spirits, and Option 1 is the only possible way now. Yuji then asks Maru about his thoughts on the thing they are about to do. Maru says that this is atonement for the trouble they have caused Earth and how they want the Earthlings to feel better because of their arrival. Yuji says that Maru's view is partly correct, but what they are about to do is a great sin. Yuji believes that in the coming age, maybe after hundreds of years, there will be no more resources other than cursed energy to consume, and how their plan will strip away this possibility. Yuji explains to him how this is a wrong thing to do, but even then, they will do it. Yuji tells Maru that maybe he will live for another 300 years, and in that time, he will take care of other problems that need attention, and he will even accept the punishment for doing this task. Yuji then wonders if he will start aging after the removal of his cursed energy, but Maru says that he will not include the current Sorcerers and Simurians in the cursed energy removal. He will only include the Non-Sorcerers and all people who will be born after this point. Yuji then tells Maru that removing cursed energy from Humans will not completely stop the birth of Curse spirits. Hearing this, Maru is completely shocked, and the Chapter comes to an End.

Chapter Highlights:                             

1. Yuji completely violated Mahito in their fight without even removing his hands from his pockets.

2. Removing Cursed energy from humans will not completely stop the birth of Cursed spirits.
