A full review of One Piece chapter 1173 covering Zoro vs giants, Brook vs Imu, Dark Nika chaos, Sommers’ fate, and triple Gokoku sovereignty.

In the latest chapter 1173 of the One Piece manga, we are finally seeing the Roronoa in action and we are also getting the gist of Brook past related to Gunko and current generation generals of giants in action and their triple Gokoku sovereignty. so lets what this chapters cover

Chapter Summary

The chapter starts from where it left off in chapter 1172, Hajrudin says what’s the plan, Roronoa?? and he asks is it okay to cut them up, which Hajrudin and Stansen show little concern, but that concern faded away after they were mocked by demon giants, and Roronoa attacks from above by using heads of giants as his flooring and cutting them, and just after that Dorry and Broggy spot Roronoa and are going to attack him, but Zoro cleverly dodges the attack and their attack lands on each other, making a friendly fire situation.

Scene shifts to Brook, who was yelling “are you Princess Shuri?” to Gunko, but he is confused that Gunko looks like Shuri, which has mismatched eyes and blue color, but if she is alive Gunko must be 80 years of age by now, but that’s not the case, and tells her he doesn’t want to think of you again for the rest of my life. Brook tells Gunko as a father killing princess and the person she kills, according to Brook, is the man he owed his entire life.

For a brief moment Gunko frees from Imu’s control, and we hear Imu saying “is your memory returning?” and Gunko yells to run to Brook, and her arrow ability loosens, and Brook gets mostly free, and he was furious, “run?? I have come to finish what all was started, who in the world are you??”

Imu takes control of Gunko again and charges with an attack, which Brook blocks with his shield, and Imu asks what he is to Gunko, and the scene shifts, we see the outcome of Brook’s confrontation.

We see Jinbe’s group, which got freed from Gunko’s abilities, and asking questions why her ability just loosened for a moment. Usopp, Jinbe, and Nami got freed, but Robin was still tied by Sommers’ thorn-thorn fruit, and Sanji arrives at that moment.

Then the story goes to the kidnapped giant children, and Sommers is laughing and reporting that all is clear and kids are near the ship, and we see the escape ship of the World Government, and at that moment parents of giants arrived to save the children, but they got attacked by one of the nightmares of kids, Dark Nika, but they got furious and say you call that Nika, we are from the warrior generation, and just in time three generals arrive and we see the new generation warrior giants, triple Gokoku sovereignty.

Which caused the Dark Nika flying and falling on Sommers, and he just flexes his strength by making a thorn club and deflects the Dark Nika, and that Nika lands, but on what? his own escape ship, which got destroyed, and we see a very funny and stressed and doomed reaction from Sommers, and he says “oh shit”.

Analysis & important confirmation

This chapter reveals Roronoa Zoro’s plan, which works as He temporarily stops Dorry and Broggy by attacking them from above and cleverly dodging their attack, causing friendly fire between them

We see Brook call Gunko by the name Princess Shuri. He calls her a father-killer and says that he owes everything to the man whose life she took.

On the other side, the parents of the children and three gaints genreal

gather and defeat Dark Nika, also known as the God of Destruction, easily, showing their elbaph warriors blood are not a joke

Saint Summer reports that everything is fine, but immediately after that, their escape ship is destroyed when the defeated Nika falls directly onto it. This stresses him so much that he simply says, “oh shit,” in a shocked and doomed state.

Fan Theories & Predictions

My theory is that Gunko killed his father under the influence of Imu, because that is exactly what happened to Harald after he became an official Holy Knight. However, because of Loki, things did not escalate, unlike in Gunko’s case.

To support this theory, we see Gunko in a flashback as a shallow covenant of the sea rank, which indicates a mere trace of bonds with the gods and now she is most likely abyssal covenant

Comment your predictions—what will happen next…

Conclusion

Chapter 1173 of One Piece shows the epic action of Zoro and the giant generals easily defeating Dark Nika. Once again, Brook fights the final boss, Gunko, who is possessed by Imu, before Luffy—classic Brook style. Very excited to see the next chapter.
