A Player in the culling game:

Reggie is a sorcerer who is a part of the Culling game started by Kenjaku to fulfill his dream of evolution between Humans and Tengen. Kenjaku has been active for the past 1000+ years and is planning to merge the humans in Japan with an immortal being named Tengen. During his past preparations, he made a binding vow with many sorcerers of different eras to reincarnate them in the future. Reggie is one of the sorcerers from the past who was summoned by Kenjaku to fight in the Culling game. Reggie adapted to the cruelty of the Culling game quickly and started gathering strong allies for fighting sorcerers and collecting points.

Personality and Alliances:

Reggie Star is depicted as intelligent, charismatic, and playful. From the outset, Reggie forms an alliance of ancient sorcerers: Hazenoki (an explosive-flesh specialist), Chizuru Hari, and the Kenjaku-created Remi, whom he uses to attract potential allies. Even though he promised Remi that he would not kill her for points, he still treated her as a disposable pawn. Throughout the Culling Game, Reggie maintains respect for strong foes. When he first duels Megumi Fushiguro, he underestimates him but acknowledges Megumi’s strength as the fight goes on. In private, Reggie reveals to Megumi that he anticipated Kenjaku’s secret objective, explaining that he has been preparing a team of powerful sorcerers to confront Kenjaku after the game ends.

What are Reggie's Cursed Technique and abilities?

Cursed Technique: Contractual Re-Creation:

Reggie's cursed technique is Contractual Re-Creation. This technique allows him to re-create Objects, Weapons and even Services he wants. All he needs to do is burn a Contract(Receipt), which has the details of the objects or the services he wants. After summoning the objects or services, he can command them like Shikigami and give them their purpose. After completing their command, they will disappear instantly. For example, Reggie created a Gas fuel for enhancing the explosion technique of his ally, and he also summoned a two-day spa service for replenishing his Stamina. This technique makes him a formidable opponent.

Master hand-to-hand combatant:

Reggie is a master hand-to-hand combatant. His mastery of martial arts, combined with his cursed technique to create objects, is very complex and formidable. He overpowered Megumi with just his martial arts and cornered him to use his domain expansion.

Anti Domain technique: Hollow wicker basket

Reggie knows how to use the Hollow wicker Basket. This technique is similar to the Simple domain and is used as a counter for the Sure hit effects of a Domain expansion. The difference between the Simple domain and the Hollow wicker basket is that the Simple domain shifts the sure hit effect of the domain upon itself for protecting the user, while the Hollow wicker basket neutralizes the sure hit effect of the domain completely. Reggie used this technique to counter Megumi's Domain, but was unsuccessful because he didn't know that Megumi's domain was incomplete.

Battles and Impacts:

Reggie Star vs Megumi Fushiguro:

The battle starts when Remi tricks Megumi into meeting Reggie, and then the negotiation between them fails. Reggie and his allies quickly overpower Megumi. As Megumi was cornered by them, Takaba arrived and helped Megumi. As the Battle progresses and the new rule of transferring player points is added, Megumi grows more aggressive and kills Chizuru Hari, enraging Reggie.
Reggie and Megumi then duel in a gymnasium. Reggie intelligently utilizes receipts to create flying trucks and a scooter, attempting to crush Megumi under heavy objects. Megumi responds with his incomplete Domain Expansion (Chimera Shadow Garden). Reggie activates Hollow Wicker Basket in response, which prevents guaranteed hits but not the domain’s crushing weight. As Reggie piles more cars and even a house on top of Megumi’s shadow, Megumi cleverly disperses the heavy house (ending his domain), causing both to fall into a swimming pool.

Conclusion by Senpai:

So this was all about Reggie Star and his Impact on the story. Reggie's character is that of Mid level boss who is used to highlight the important characters' development and powers. Ultimately, Reggie’s fate is to die at Megumi’s hands. After his defeat, he fulfills Kenjaku’s mysterious rule that players must drop 5 points upon dying – he willingly bestows his points to Megumi, ensuring they are put to interesting use. His last act of cursing Megumi with his dying words highlights his confidence and personality even in death.
