Culling Game is a battle royale started by Kenjaku to collect a large amount of Cursed energy, which he will use to fulfill his wish. Kenjaku has been active for the past 1000+ years and is planning to merge the humans in Japan with an immortal being named Tengen. During his past preparations, he made a binding vow with many sorcerers of different eras to reincarnate them in the future. Since Kashimo loved fighting and was the strongest in his era, Kenjaku made a binding vow with him that he would reincarnate him in the modern era, where he could fight with the strongest sorcerer of history, The King of Curses "Ryomen Sukuna".

Kashimo was a sorcerer who lived in the Edo period and was considered the Strongest Sorcerer in that Era. Kashimo was Battle Obsessed and was known as the God of Ligthing. The only thing that pleased Kashimo was the Thrill of Combat. In his old age, he was diagnosed with a Fatal illness and was at the death door when he met Kenjaku. Kenjaku informed him about a sorcerer who was in a faraway land and was powerful enough for Kashimo to enjoy the battle, but Kashimo refused because of the long distance and the little time left. Kashimo then asked Kenjaku about the Strongest Sorcerer he has ever known, and Kenjaku replied that even though it was 600 years ago, he would never change his mind that Sukuna is the strongest sorcerer he has ever met. Kashimo was thrilled and accepted Kenjaku's deal so that he could reincarnate in the modern era and fight Sukuna. 

Powers and Abilities of Kashimo Hajime:

Master Hand-to-Hand Combat:

Kashimo has a mastery of Martial Arts. He depends more on close combat rather than his Cursed technique, and overpowers his opponents with his exceptional speed and his Electrifies Curse energy. Since his attacks are already electrified by his cursed energy, his attacks deal damage to opponents even if they are blocked. When fighting with Panda, Kashimo openly engaged in unarmed striking and pummeled Panda with a barrage of punches. Even when he faced Hakari, a sorcerer who had the advantage of Infinite Cursed energy for several minutes, Kashimo was able to go toe to toe with him and was very close to winning that battle. Even though he lost the battle against Hakari, Hakari convinced Kashimo to join them to end the culling game.

Electrified Cursed Energy:

Kashimo's Cursed energy was not like others, and it had the properties of an electric current. Due to this, his body was in a constant state of electrification. Due to this electrified cursed energy, his attacks were impossible to defend, and even though someone blocked them, they were left with the effects of an electric shock. Kashimo is also naturally resistant to electricity, as when Sukuna attacked him with Kamutoke's Electricity, he didn't suffer any damage.

Lightning Discharge (Technique): 

Kashimo can separate positive and negative charges in his body to launch a powerful lightning bolt. This “Lightning Discharge” is a sure-hit ranged attack that ignores defenses – he literally fires an unstoppable lightning strike at a target without needing a domain or special setup.

Nyoi Staff Conduction:

Kashimo wields a long staff (Nyoi Staff) that doubles as a lightning rod. He channels his cursed energy through it, enabling him to send devastating lightning strikes. For example, in his fight with Hakari, he used the staff to electrocute and tear off Hakari’s abdomen.

Defensive Technique:

He also knows Hollow Wicker Basket, an anti-domain barrier that can protect him from a sure-hit Domain Expansion. Kashimo used this to counter Hakari’s domain during their battle.

Kashimo Hajime Cursed Technique: Mythical Beast Amber (One-Time Use)

Kashimo's Cursed technique is "Mythical Beast Amber". This technique can only be used once in his lifetime. When Kashimo activated his technique, his body was reconstructed from flesh to pure electricity. His electric power went off the charts, and his speed and senses were also enhanced. This helped Kahsimo in using a deadly electrified combo against Sukuna and forced him into using his last resort(Incarnation). Thus, Kashimo’s Mythical Beast Amber embodies his philosophy: an all-out, electrifying onslaught to claim victory no matter the cost.

Kashimo vs Panda:

Kashimo vs Panda was an one side assault by Kashimo on Panda. Even though Panda was a master of hand-to-hand combat and had his Gorilla form, which enhanced his strength, Panda was easily overpowered. In the end, as Panda was defeated, Hakari came and saved him.

Kashimo vs Hakari:

Kashimo vs Hakari was one of the most fan-favorite fights in the JJK series. In this fight, we saw Hakari's true potential and Kashimo's pure talent. Hakari, with his raw power, impressed Kashimo, and they both had a fun time battling each other. Even though Hakari had the advantage of Unlimited cursed energy for Several minutes, Kashimo drove Hakari to a corner. Hakari and Kashimo both were magnificent, but in the end, Hakari won the match and convinced Kashimo to join them.

Kashimo vs Ryomen Sukuna:

Sukuna vs Kashimo was a short but amazing fight. This fight started after Gojo Satoru was defeated, and Sukuna was left heavily injured. Kashimo appeared on the battlefield and cornered Sukuna, due to which Sukuna had to use his last resort and reincarnate himself in his true form to heal himself. After Sukuna came in his true form, he overpowered Kashimo with a great difference, and thus Kashimo met his end in this very fight.
